Beau Bassin

Service Area

The Evangeline Area Council, serving the eight traditional parishes of Acadiana, is divided into 5 geographical districts. The Beau Basin District serves the youth and families of Lafayette and Upper St. Martin Parishes.

Our units and more than 500 leaders provide program to over 1,500 youth. The mission of Beau Bassin District is to ensure that every young person within our district has the opportunity to experience Scouting.

Volunteers and paid professionals from the district support the Packs, Troops, Teams, and Crews that make Scouting happen through mentoring, events, and administrative support to adult leaders.
