Greetings Fellow Scouters,
I would like to introduce myself to some and re-aquaint myself to others. My name is Maureen A. Marshall-Little, your new District Executive for Coushatta. I am a resident of the community which this position will serve. As a professional, I am now better able to assist in the youth movement known as Boy Scouts of America. Working together we can make a difference in the Evangeline Area Council. Scouting thrives because of its volunteers. I had been one for several years acting as the Cub Master and Assistant Scout Master for both Pack and Troop 1010 of Lawtell, LA. I also served on the district level as the Public Relations and Communications Chair. As a volunteer I worked at the Cub Scout Day Camp for the past two years doing outdoor activities and teaching advancements. I Volunteered as Assistant Scout Master for the Provisional Troop for Summer Camp 2011 at Mount Bayou.
I am a mother of three scouts, Alexander - Boy Scout, Ayrton - WEBELO 2, and Adrian - Tiger Cub Pack and Troop 1010, Lawtell, LA. I have taken Wood Badge Adult Leadership Training. This training is the highest level training an adult Scout can achieve. I am certified in First Aid, CPR, Safety Afloat, Weather Hazard and attended University of Scouting. Thank you for your past involvement and I look forward to working with each of you in the future. Sincerely Yours in Scouting, Maureen A. Marshall-Little
