The Evangeline Area Council, BSA and the Louisiana IceGators invite you to Scout Night at the CAJUNDOME!
The IceGators are extending discounted pricing to all Scouts and Leaders, and their friends and family for their home game against the Mississippi RiverKings on February 4, 2012 at 7:05 PM at the CAJUNDOME. Cost of the event is only $10.00 per person and includes a special commemorative patch for each registered Scout and Leader.
During the game, the IceGators will be providing special "give-aways" such as autographed items and much more. Come out and watch our new Head Coach Kevin "Killer" Kaminski, former NHL star of the Washington Capitals and Head Coach of the Mississippi RiverKings, lead the attack against his old team!
Patches are limited so register today! Event pricing is available to all Scouts, Leaders, and friends and family.

Open to all Troops and Crews. Will be held February 10-12, 2012. Plan to attend the ultimate skills competition set in 19th Century Alaska. Compete in 16 towns from Anchorage to Valdez and finish with a full out sled race! Your patrol does not want to miss this event! The cost is $10 per scout and includes the inaugural patch.
This is a must schedule event when you do your program planning!

 The Evangeline Area Council, with cooperation from the Calcasieu Area and the Three Rivers Councils proudly invite you to participate in the premier advanced adult training course; Wood Badge. Wood Badge training will benefit you, your unit, your professional life and your personal life. You will learn management skills, communication skills, conflict management, and much more. But wait, there's more... Once you learn your skills, you will have an opportunity to put those skills to work.
Course Date: Mar. 16-18 AND Apr 13-15, 2012 (arrival at 7:30 AM on Fri.). You must attend ALL 6 days of the training to complete.
Course Fee per participant is $200 (this includes 18 meals, course materials, the coveted Wood Badge Neckerchief, Woggle and Beads, as well as course T-Shirt and Cap).
Dates to Consider:
- Wood Badge Deposit Due - Jan. 13, 2012 - $60
- Wood Badge Total Fee Due - Feb. 10, 2012 - $200 ($60 dep. & $140 residual)
- Wood Badge Weekend 1 - Mar. 16-18, 2012 - Camp Edgewood
- Wood Badge Weekend 2 - Apr. 13-15, 2012 - Mt. Bayou Lake
