Happy New Year, everyone. I hope that your holidays brought countless blessings and joy to you, and that you are all ready for a new year of endless possibilities, both within the scouting movement, and in your personal lives. We have so much on the horizon, it’s tough to put it all into words right here. First, Don’t forget about University of Scouting, January 17th, 2009 at New Iberia Senior High school. Classes ranging from pack finances to backpacking, commissioner service, and COPE and climbing will be offered. See the link below for more details. I am very excited about the 2009 Acadia District Leader’s Banquet, to be held March 10th 2009. Please plan to attend and celebrate scouting with the rest of the adult leaders in Acadia District.
